Huh I never noticed that :oblong::eek: My guess is it flies better like that on the model. Either way, when you're huckin' down on the deck, nobody really cares about scale, it's all about the LOWER!!

    Plane Restraint

We have a canopy that runs over the length of the pits, covering the worktables. Usually we strap the airplanes against that, the pillars supporting the canopy have 200lb of concrete that was poured around most of them them. It's pretty sturdy...

The Savox 1270TG has a known issue where one of the gear is 2 pieces pressed together. This may be your issue. If you don't want to use Savox servos anymore but want to keep your SWB hardware then I suggest checking out the Hitec HSB9380 servo. 25t spline (same as Futaba) but...

Battery voltage was good at 8.3 volts. It's a shame, that airplane flew so well and was in such good condition (sans elevator/rudder tips ;) ). On to the next I suppose... I was looking at an Aerobeez 88" Slick..

    Aurora 9X strange issue

Turnaround time from when we receive the unit is 7-10 business days right now. That's roughly 2 weeks from the time we receive your Tx to the time we can service it and send it back. Spring time is usually the busiest as everybody is generally sending their equipment in for service since the...

The EF Yak is no more :( My only conclusion is the rx lost power somehow. All of my rx/servo equipment checked out perfectly fine before the flight and everything worked fine post crash analysis, nothing drawing unusual current or bad link or any of that. I'm thinking the power leads into the...

    IMAC hobby getting expensive

Generally, when you see a huge pricetag on something (Futaba 18MZ for example, or JR 28X), you have to factor in certain aspects of the transmitter such as a large amounts of R&D that went into the transmitter, and the features that the transmitter includes. The 18MZ has a Windows operating...

Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

The Aerobeez Team uses a Hacker A60-6XS, Master Spin 99 ESC, and Hitec 7954's all with a 6s 5000 for power (same setup I'm going to use). I think they're running a separate flight pack, not 100% on that. I'm going to use a Castle BEC PRO in mine set to 8 volts so that I don't have to add a...

I'd think something like an Edge or Extra would be a better candidate. Yak's tend to wobble a bit in harriers :D Pilot has several 40% Edge or Extra's.

    Aurora 9X strange issue

The A9 and A9X are probably the 2 simplest radios out there to program. Everything is laid out right in front of you, just gotta sit down for 10-15 minutes and play with the functions and you'll figure it out.
