    It's an old Multiplex tool(makeup)box, has some dents and dings in it, but overall a 9/10 shape. I am going to need to do some more tweaks to it, I'd like to fit power jacks to the outside for 12 and 24v applications so I can close the lid during charging and use multiple chargers if need be...

    Got a sweet new toolbox, fitted my power supplies (x2 12v in series for a 24v), threw all my junk in it, and am going to bring it to the field for its official first run. Did a little test run tonight, everything seems to work great.

    I never recommend parallel charge boards. Every cell has to be at nearly the same voltage, otherwise the charger can overcharge one cell, or not fully charge another cell.     I don't get it... (maybe because I'm tired). Lithium creates its own oxygen when it burns, so it needs to be smothered. A Class D extinguisher is copper based so the copper inside of it basically melts to the lithium and chokes it out.

    Not with a Class ABC. You need a Class D. Sand works better. They do not burn long at all either. It can happen, but it's becoming increasingly rare nowadays.

    No. C rating is 1x the capacity of the pack. So for a 500mah pack, 1C is 0.5 amps. There are 1000mah in 1 amp, because a milli is 1/1000. A pack with a 30C discharge is 30x the capacity of the pack, so for a 500mah pack, that's 15 amps. Or for a 5000mah pack, that's 150 amps.

    It has been well documented by Futaba's following that the 6014 receiver can handle the direct 2s 8.4v power from your packs. I have several friends at my local club that run 8.4v through them with no issues to speak of.

    Sounds like it may be a defective servo then. Could you get a video of what the servo is doing? Also, how are your linkages setup? Which holes do you have them in on the servo and the control horn?

    Maybe I'm lucky, my stock pack lasts me at least a dozen flights and still shows 65% in it. But I'll be switching to lipo, especially since Chad has one that fits!!

    Simple reasons: 1. I have never had any sign of a legitimate reason to not trust a LiPo. 2. Get the most power out of the servo. 3. Less stuff between battery and servos.
