    Or If all else fails, you can always do it like my brother did .He has a Fox body Mustang with a 377 chevy in it. Still street legal (barely) full cage, narrowed rear end, running street slicks. It's a wild ride!!!

    Before getting much further along with the retracts,make sure the gear doors are on so you can trial fit everything together. Looking very nice so far. It's at this point of a build when everything really starts coming together.

    Good. I have to agree on putting them in. I used to have an old Dynaflite .60 size P51 that I built. Those kits were sport scale, but in the air with the wheels up the plane looked great. I always lowered the wheels during the descent over the runway going with the wind then turned into the wind...

    The clear I seal edges with is Nason 496-00 with a touch of Nason 483-78 activator. DuPont 7600 clear is good too. just much more costly. Really any good automotive clear will work ,and it is a bit more flexible when dried than clear fingernail polish. I use it on some covering edges and also...

    I have used the cutters they sell for wrapping paper from 3M . They work pretty well for where you overlap your covering edges. Not near good enough for any edges where you have 2 colors though. Like you I use mostly very sharp scissors and exacto knives.
