right now I'm multitasking (I thought only women could do that) from making the second electric wire harness, to preparing bottom sheeting, I just received the Pulley/belts for the starter/alternator

Today took a break on the wing, and worked on first removing the engine from the Pitts, and started making the adapter for the starter/alterator, what you see here is a work in progress, more cutting to do but its going well

Your kidding us all right? Is there "ANYTHING" that you can't do? How awesome!!!

Just curious....what motor is that? My apologies if you mentioned it earlier....I just don't remember.

There is a thousand plus things I can't do, but like I said before , the ingredients are simple, Passion and believe you can do it

As for the motor, its an EVO 300cc from Spain, not my engine of choice since its a two stroke but the deal with Kolme fell through so the EVO it is....

I have to agree with you on the passion. If ya want it bad enough....you'll find a way to make it happen right? Dang, sorry to hear that. My friend here is still waiting on his Kolm. Supposedly it shipped already and is held up in customs. Them dern boiys out there in the East don't realize they are dealin' with fire when it comes to holding up our r/c toys. LOL

more work on the large Pulley adapter, made a sort of jig to drill and tap 8 holes and 4-40 screws, ran out of the long screws so will continue tomorow

Sorry guys if I'm posting too many pictures but when I come in for a short break I post while relaxing
The one is with the prop bolt holes done, , but the toothed plastic pulley had to be opened to the inside of the aluminum hub, leaving very little meat to hold the torque, not sure if it will be strong enough, I am trying to figure out if I can reinforce the inside of the two pulleys .

What is the final ratio? Looks like about 8 to 1, at 6000 rpm that brushless motor going to be spinning!
The final ratio is 6:1 but we are not reaching 6000 max at 5000 and most of the time 4500.
The brushless can't spin easily without damage to 30,000
If there is plenty of power to start the motor, I might go with a lower ratio , experimentation is what it's all about
