Thanks did not recognize the plane with that cowl. Sure looks different and good, but with that shape I can see why you had to do some baffling. The baffling looks great nice job baffling is not easy to do it right and keep it lite.

Woohoo this stupid thing lives again! Mental note: don't read the instructions included with your new parts, because they tell you the wrong firing order :oblong:

If there was ever a reason as to why men don't read the directions, this is it :D:rolleyes:
Never worked on a boat engine but it looks like you can just about get to most of the engine and sit on your bum while working on it. Sounds good another job done.

If you've ever worked on a Chevy with a 4.3 V6 then you'll know exactly how it is to work on this engine because they are the same aside from some minor differences.

Nice! I need to get mine going also, I have a 95 master craft with the 5.7l vette motor in it. (Stock motor for the boat). It's been sitting for 2 years because of the drought, I'm worried the fuel injectors and pump are all screwed up.. been putting off looking at it.. but now it's hot and the lake is full for the first time in many years! Ugh... 106 this weekend too!
