I like 'em "BIG"!
I was kind of thinking that too Doug. But then, I am always open to new ideas and suggestions. I try to take care of my stuff but sometimes new information can be useful.I would imagine keeping them torqued to the proper spec which is much tighter than people that don't use a torque wrench usually tighten them, and a close inspection is about all the average guy can do. Being a body man for decades, I see with my hand. I carefully run my hand over all of it to feel for imperfections. My 28 x 9 1/2 Falcon has I slight crack, for lack of a better term, on one of the tips. It's tiny, and runs width wise about an 1/8" from the tip. I CA'd it and check it all the time, and it doesn't seem to change. I think I hit the tip on my concrete driveway.
