I worked a couple of hours on it tonight and finished constructing the Wing Fairings and ran into a problem. The last step page 40 step #13 before filling and finish sanding is to glue the aft bottom fillett in place after cutting it from a i/16 sheet. and use the diaghram furnished in the plans." 13. Use the pattern furnished on plans to cut
the two Aft Bottom Fillets from 1/16” balsa sheet.
Glue the Aft Bottom Fillets to the 1/32” plywood
Fillet Base and to the bottom of the fuselage as
shown in the photo." The problem there is no diaghram in the plans so I had to yse the Fairing base that was already glued into place as a diaghram and managed to make two. This would be a lot easier if you do this diaghram BEFORE glueing the base in place as in Page 39 step #3 and make a diaghram BEFORE glueing them in .20150318_234813_resized.jpg20150318_234840_resized.jpg20150318_235111_resized.jpg20150319_000213_resized.jpg

Did a little more and finished the fairing more closely resembeling the real thing and then mated to the wing. The next step is to turn the plane over and construct the belly pan on the wing and mate that to the fuselage.20150321_144326_resized_1.jpg20150325_152417_resized.jpg20150325_152739_resized.jpg20150325_152908_resized_1.jpg20150325_153100_resized.jpg20150325_153225_resized.jpg20150325_153225_resized.jpg

Worked on the belly pan the afternoon and not to happy with the diargam for the sheeting in the plans. It just didnt fit well and when applied the sheeting saged in a few places so i am going to have to fill and sand to make look good. If I had to do over I would use one large sheet and cut to fit.20150326_160434_resized.jpg20150326_160444_resized.jpg20150326_173018_resized.jpg
