The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Okay, so what did you do tonight in your workshop/basement/living room/kitchen?

Tonight I modified my turnigy Accucell-6 charger by deleting the craptastical input jack plug and instead replacing it with 12awg 600v rated wire, since the original input jack couldn't handle any decent current capacity (I read somewhere that these things aren't rated for more than 1.5 amps continuous). Should handle the chargers 50 watt max output nicely. Charged a 3s 2200 pack at 4 amps tonight and the charger didn't even break a sweat- before I couldn't charge much more than 2 amps without both the input leads and the whole charger getting warm. Only modification I did to the case was drilled a hole for the positive lead to exit the case since it couldn't bend sharply enough to exit the input jack hole.

Stayed at a nice 90*F the entire time, took all of 20 mins to charge my depleted pack to full. Not bad for a chinese charger. Will be doing this to my other Accucell tomorrow, as well as hard wiring the fan to be on all the time (one charger turns it on during charging, the other charger turns it off during charging  ).

I got a new 3-blade Solo prop from CompARF for my Pitts... only to find out that for $600, the adjustable pitch prop that CompARF sells really isn't a Solo prop, and it's only adjustable if you pull the prop off of the plane and manually adjust it. It looks good, but it isn't what I though I was getting. I should have asked more questions. I have a prop on order from Solo, but they are running 6 months behind in production.

Don't know a thing..
I bought this edge some 10 years ago, before giant scale arfs were readily available. Good friend of mine build it for me. It was my first giant scale plane... 35% Edge with 3W100. When I stopped flying 7 years ago, I sold it to a friend. He flew it for a few years and then it has been sitting. I recently got it back and am going through and completely re-doing everything. I know it is only an airplane, but your first giant scale plane holds a special place in your heart... she's my baby...

I was allowed in my wife's workshop and prepped the turkey and some chicken leg/thigh quarters.
