Cleared a work table today. I ordered table top glass a few years ago and the glass company strongly recommended a full table sized piece of glass. Unfortunately they were correct. This Tiger Moth fuse is 8+ feet long. I will eat my mistake and order a full table sized piece of glass.

What type of glass did you order and how thick. I build on glass and I just broke mine

I ordered tempered glass. They put a chamfer around the edges and maybe a slight bevel. I will use the same company again. And I will pay for delivery.

My flying buddy delivers glass for a local company that makes tempered glass, big glass, truck mounted crane for loading,
Over 50 years ago toured the PPG tempered glass plant in Ford City PA, the tour was part of an Industrial Engineering course, at any rate a worker put a back window on the flour on two 4x4's then stood on it, was impressed.

Probably a Tony question here. I need to make a fake gas cap but not sure about scale size. Thoughts?

J-3 or PA-18? The former has a fuselage tank while the latter has wing tanks.
