Another frustrating day at the field. The GP61 in my Carf Extra died at half throttle again and again sailed just passed the field and ended up in the beans.
Unfortunately this time it broke the gear plate loose on one side.
So I got just over a minute in today.

Man dude, so sorry to hear that. :dancing-poop:Want to try a BE 62?

Got out early for a couple quick flights on the Big Stick. The DLE35 fires right up. Having a good time with this plane.

Yeah to add insult to injury it was the best weather day that we've had in months. Mid 80's tolerable humidity and a light breeze blowing my favorite direction. I also have a friend and his son coming to town next weekend from Detroit to go flying next Sunday and unless I get something fixed this week I'm out of airplanes.:(

Want to try a BE 62?

I think I'm done spending money on this airplane.

Had a blast yesterday with @Joe Hunt and the crew throwing down at the OCMA club. Joe gets the low pass of the day award!! Left a nice skidmark in the runway

That was a good time, @Xpress !

Tanner parked his plane in the gusty wind and I was trying to do tight inside rollers around him. He did his part, the old man, not so much. haha

I think we got within a few feet doing that, and also maybe just a couple of feet when we were doing knife edge passes... I liked how the close knife edge passes looked. :)
