There are lots of great pilots out there that do amazing things... but few are as entertaining to watch as Supatim! Great job, nice edit, great camera work, loved it! :D

Thanks by the way! I know there's better pilots out there, I'm just trying to be the one having the most fun with it!!!

I'm LOVING the "everyday AJ" and take it with me whenever I can sneak it into the truck. Took the family out to the Pacific Northwest coastline for Spring Break and managed to bring it along. Here's a few snapshots of it in action and stay tuned, there's video...

Man love those pics! Was it windy? In your opinion how does the laser handle in less than advantageous conditions compared to other airframes in this size?

Windy was an understatement... 15-20 but super steady and predictable.

I've flown/owned/built A LOT of 30cc sized airframes from "top shelf" manufacturers as well as "bargain basement" volume importers. While they all had their own advantages ie: floaty, or precise, or agile, none of them have had all 3 until now.

Typically I despise SFG's but on the Laser they only improve an already great flying plane. With the winds, they take out any of the nasty swirling wash out that typically occurs and keeps the plane incredibly stable at regular speeds and in high alpha.

Nice! Sure does look good on that beach and with the sunset behind it! Beautiful!

SupaTim,

I'm curious about your A123 setup.

Looks like you use a Deans Ultra as your switch and soldered two leads for your Rx and Ign on the Deans plug side? Never seen this method until now. Do you like doing this method verses a dual switch?

What size is your A123? 2500? mfgr? 4-5 ten min flights with this setup maybe??

Thanks!
