Here is a Trailer I recently finished. Working fantastic so far. Just need to find a decent priced 3000k generator that is quiet. Now when my son and I go to events we just throw an air mattress in the floor and sleep in trailer. It has been awesome! and no more Hangar rash loading and unloading. Heck I even use it when I camp with the scouts too. Peg board shelf works great as I always have places to tie stuff down. So far I have put a 1/4 scale cub up there, and my 88"EF plane. Baja ,mini bike and other stuff goes on floor.





Few mods after these pics:

Extra battery so now it has 2 -100 amp hour batteries.

I am currently looking for a new tool box to replace all my lift-n-loc boxes. Currently have 4 .

Added a fire proof equipment box to store my lipos.



Been debating on solar, but I always plug up at home, and if away I run off battery. I figured I could put my money for solar towards a good generator.

I like the floor. I assume that is a foam/rubber type material similar to exercise mats?

Looks like SoftTiles. http://softtiles.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=94&Itemid=47 I was thinking of doing my floor with them.

How does that stuff hold up to fuel spills?

I have used softtiles on 2 different trailers. Works great. If you spill just wipe it up. So far 3 yrs strong. and its really nice on the knees when you have to get low.

Any ideas on where I might find some thick foam. I want to put some 3" or 4" foam under my tail gear for transport.

I like to use the white foam that came in box for my battery charger. It's about 1" thick and I cut it into a 5x5 square. I put it under my main tires also. I never have flat spotted tires anymore and after a while it cups the tires.

I bought some of the XL pool noodles and then cut a 5" section. Works great!

That's a good idea, never thought of that. Their good to cover your ramp door cables also
