I use a washer as a spacer so no to damage the gold anodizing, and I cut right against the washer.

We do not ship to Canada at the moment: we have not found a decent way to deal with any warranty or shipping damage issue.

We have many Canadian customers who use a US address south of the border, and handle the Canadian part of shipping in different ways.
