I would agree with Bloosee, a prop like that might be too steep of a pitch to perform well with such a small and light 3D airplane.

The SF props tend to spool quicker in the low and mid range while giving you smoother thrust output. A standard thin electric prop won't bite as hard until it's into the RPM's which might make your airplane a little bit sensitive on the throttle. But always try out a few different prop choices to see what you like.

It goes like stink on the thin electric but it does much better 3D with the SF, much better low RPM thrust, which is what Xpress was alluding to.

This plane lasted about 10 seconds in the air because of a dumb dumb dumb mistake. Ugggg make sure your ailerons aren't reversed!

I fixed the motor box and I'm sure I can get a cowl from Aerobeez cheap. I would have flown it again after piecing it back together but then I realized a servo was stripped!

3DMIKE I have done the exact same thing on a 50cc plane last year.... completely destroyed that plane on its maiden flight.... I almost got out of the hobby after that lol... I had no one to blame but myself.... You can be darn sure I check that EVERY flight now lol

Dude that sucks!!!!!!

I've done it before too. Nothing destroys your ego faster than reversed ailerons on a maiden flight :scaredchair:
