One of my dogs had started to pee blood back in May. He was diagnosed with stones and they put him on a special diet designed to help dissolve the stones. Well a little over a week ago he started peeing blood real bad and was straining hard to pee. Took him back in and the food wasn't working and they had to operate. This at the same time as us getting a new puppy. I was supposed to take my mother in law to Edmonton last Friday and again on Monday for tests but now could not as Teddy was not fit to travel. To add to it The puppy had a bad eye infection I had to treat and then his stools did not look solid and within a few days turned to full blown diarrhea with blood. Puppy's that small can die in a short time from that. Took him back to vet and our suspicions that he had worms was correct. He was infested with them. So then I had to put all three on dewormer to be safe on top of the other stuff going on. Then Sunday night my wife txt me to say her mom said she couldn't breath right. I told her she may have to take her to emergency but she said her mom had gone to sleep already and they were seeing the heart specialist in the morning. After she had the first test all hell broke loose and they were talking open heart surgery. They got her into the hospital and also found her lungs were full of fluid and she wasn't strong enough to operate on. Her BP was crashing by the early evening and got down to about 80 over 41. She had a valve failing in her heart that was already in poor shape. She already had a pacemaker/defibrillator put in back in April. They told my wife that she was probably going to die. She asked how long and they said there was no way to tell for sure. So a few hours later didn't her heart start to stabilize as well as her BP. So they took her out of ICU and into a room around midnight last night. This morning she was sittting up eating breakfast. My wife is on her way home for now as she is supposed to be at work, but we could get called down at any moment if she crashes again. In the meantime we have to get through our work cycle and hopefully pick her up as soon as they can release her. The fun of being in a hospital 300 miles from home. So here I am caring for a sick puppy with the house and yard on a bio lock down. As soon as anyone poops it gets picked up and the ground scraped (just for puppy's) to make sure no eggs get into the soil. Then into the house for a bum wash as the puppy still has soft poop. I have washed my hands a million times in the last few days. i will be glad when all this is over. Now Teddy is starting to feel a little better and I have to work to keep him from playing with the puppy. He is not allowed to play or climb stairs. Of course we are in a bi-level so I have to carry him in and out to go to the bathroom.

So ya I haven't had any time to work on it since I took it out of the box and all hell broke loose.

Geeeeeeesh...... and I thought I had a bad day because it rained all day............

Here are the wheels I bought to use on my Cub to give it more of a bush plane look. The stock wheels are 4.25" by 1.8", the new ones are about 5 3/4" by 2.5". They come with the Cub center caps too but are the wrong shade of yellow. I have some Krylon yellow here that is almost a perfect match. The stock wheels are 6 oz each and the new ones are 8.5 oz each.
