Got my vert stabs glued in and their lights connected to the controller. Does anyone know if the red tail light is steady or pulsing on the full-scale f-15? I looked at as many vids as I could but cant tell. The last lights to do are the landing lights! The rudder and aileron hinges are glued...

Finished adding scheme covering to the wing of my GP F15. The bottom isnt scale because 1) I cant find any documentation or pics of that scheme on the bottom and 2) I needed a bright color for cloudy days.

I finished covering the front portion of my GP F-15. Was happy I was able to do one side and the whole top in one piece w/ virtually no wrinkles! Had planned on a seam half way on top, but it went so well I just kept pulling it over. Still have to do the top of the fuse behind the wing, then all...

Had PLANNED to go flying today, but looks like I'm grounded. :( I updated my dx18 software to v1.08 a few days ago and had to reload my models. Now when rebinding them, I get no stick response and the orange light doesn't come on the Rx. The binding process works as it always had, but nothing...

Finally got the right pipe mount/bracket so was able to get the header & pipe in the plane, which was holding me up from testing CG and installing the Rx & batteries. Got the fuel vent/overflow in after the pipe, CF spinner painted (WHAT A PAIN THAT WAS!), and everything together for CG testing...

Question: How many people here have WON a DA Engine??

I won a da-85 3 or 4 years ago at my first XFC trip on only about $40 of tickets. I won the DA-35 at this years XFC, or rather I WOULD'VE won it, had they have been more clear on raffle times, etc. But, that's another story... :(

Primed and painted the CF Taildraggerrc spinner for my 93 Laser. What a pain! Had the worst luck with the spray coming out dry and rough, and then with clear coat runs. I think I did 7 coats of clear total. Ugh. Not as shiny as I'd like, but its ok for now.

No, the whole reason for rims only was to get the trailer low enough to get in the garage. However it's not going to work no matter what I do. I re-measured the height with those small rims and I'm just over an inch too tall. =/ Gonna have to either park it at a storage lot, or sell it.
