There is a very detailed build on the universe kit building by a fellow named Vincent, check it out. I think he used a DLE 20 and had a custom exhaust made for it. At last report it has not flown yet. Very nice scheme.- TonyHallo

Another favorite of mine, had a SIg Bonanza in the late 80's, Como .60, Carl Goldberg retracts, flew very well. It was the first plane I built that had a foam wing, what a plane to start with! Thank God for the great instructions provided by Sig. What are your plans for finishing?- TonyHallo

Trimmed and sanded the root rib to shape and began the wing extension. Made a few prototype flap hinges today, first time working with G10, learned a few things along the way, more fiddling is necessary. Grandsons are coming over after school and staying the night, my shift has ended!- TonyHallo

I have the fuselage on it's side to fit the right wing panel, the fuselage is screwed to a 2" x 8" at the firewall and blocked level. Made a little wigget to mark the wing, 3/4" high with a piece of 1/32" plywood to fit under the gap on the bottom. Once marked the contour was cut with a saw.- TonyHallo

It is a 19 mm hex, the diameter of the pipe is 15mm. The threads are very fine on the flare nut. I would image the threads are 17mm diameter.- TonyHallo

Worked on the right wing landing gear block today. The instructions from Robart have you install the block and sheet the wings then drill the block and fit a plywood mounting plate, seemed backward to me so I drilled the hole first and milled the area for the 1/4" mounting plate. Fit up the right wing plywood ribs. The ribs are glued to 3/8" balsa sheet fitted between the top and bottom spars. The second rib needs the balsa sheet installed and glued into position.
