How did you find a vector drawing? Another question, where did you find the info on the info on the original model?

Looks like both of those planes hit the tail skid, the small photo has damage. I may add the a tail skid to mine. Here are a few views that may help in the redesign if decide to go forward. My build is more standoff scale and will hopefully become an everyday flyer. As far as the engine size...

Just make sure you are happy, you came this far. Just finished putting the Monokote back on the Cherokee because I didn't like how the fin to fuselage came out.

Yes I am putting in a Roto 85 FS in the plane. Can't speak to the discrepancies but the plans are a good starting point and use the plans as reference for your build. To be honest I would not have attempted this build without these plans. Weight? I hope it as light as possible, will let you...

Hair spray is basically glue so it adds glue to the balsa/ filler base and promotes better adhesion. I like the way it sands as well. It's coming along.

Looking at the graphics today and found this photo on Airliners.net. Red scheme just like the light blue. Pretty sure I'm going with missile red trim.

Thanks Nick but it is not my idea, something I read on the web but they do work great, very easy to align and pops right into place.

Welcome aboard Appowner. What parts are you looking for? The fiberglass part or windows or both? The fiberglass part is far from perfect and it will take a few prime and sand sessions. You can see in the photo the shinny and darker spots are low, I quickly block sanded to see just how it...

Made a dash and covered it with vinyl fabric from Jo Ann fabrics, used 3m Super 77 contact cement to attach to the balsa dash. This will be glued it after the windows are installed. The vinyl is folded over on itself to form the lip and give a finished appearance.

What glue did you decide to use for the fabric? Bought fabric for my dash top and while I ask the women what glue would work on the fabric, she recommended E6000, did a test with it and it does not work, I'm thinking 3M 77 contact cement.

The mold is complete. It is far from perfect but good enough to get the job done.
