    Count me in! Mine is almost ready to maiden. Just needs a little paint here and there and she should be ready to go. Speaking of the maiden, what do you guys think? Should I trying a long sloping hill? Or take a leap of faith and bunny hop this bitch right off a cliff???

    Fashioned and attached a new tail skid tonight for the Wild Tiger Profile. I cut it out of some 1/4 " ply. Glued and pinned it in place with Loctite Go2 Glue and carbon rod. Once the glue dries I'll cut the carbon rods off flush and slap a little white paint in it.

    Thanks and yes that crossed my mind. I actually have those in stock at the shop. But I don't think it will be quite tall enough on its own. Maybe I can build up a ramp with some lite-ply and cap it off with one of those skids. I'll post a pic or two what ever I come up with.

    I installed a new gear set in the rudder servo on my Wild Tiger profile. It stripped when the carbon rod I installed for a tail skid broke. And I didn't notice till I taxied quite a ways dragging the rudder. Now I just have to figure out something different for a tail skid.

    Then I rebuilt the gas tank since it been sitting a couple years. Also replaced all the plumbing.

    About 6 months ago @flycanic hooked me up with a new set of Tetherite landing gear for my Redwing 20cc Sbach Profile. The stock gear is stiff and narrow. Which leaves no room for error. The Tetherite gear has some flex and is about 6" wider and an inch or so taller. So I finally got around to...

    So I tried the bicycle lift idea to store my MX2. But I didn't really care for it. Seemed a bit sketchy and kind of a pain to use. So I came up with this setup today. I like it much better. Sturdy and easy to use. I'm going to build another one just like it for my Stinson.
