    78'' Extra

how much do those kavan tires weigh? I could potentially use them on my bigfoot to replace the bricks, I mean the dubros that I have on there right now. they're not quite as big, but if the price is right it would save me some $$ over buying new ones from Sig, which I think are out of stock...

IMAC learning and support using flight videos

Okay, so here's the idea...many of us have expressed a desire to learn the IMAC basic sequences and others. For many of us, competing in an actual IMAC competition is not available for many reasons: time, money, equipment, etc. But is that gonna stop us from learning? NO! Was it over when...

    Redwing RC 76" MXS-R

Interesting...do the plans call for pull pull rudder even with a gas setup? Many of the 30cc planes I've seen have a pull pull for electric or they recommend a tail-mounted rudder servo for gas setups. Also, with respect to your previous post regarding the elevators, it occurred to me that...

I see what you are talking about...I'd like to see a bottom and side view pic of the cowl attached to the airframe. It should be enough exit area, I suppose.

    Inexpensive servos is today's market

Good luck! at that size (MG225) I have not found nor heard of anything better. Evidently the Savox servos that size are not really up to the task. I am hoping to try some Align DS515's to see how they work...they are less expensive and seem to be of good quality...but they are still $40 each...

    EXTRA 330SC GOLDWING 120cc

In the first picture, I think the triangular ones on the top left and directly adjacent to it are designed to allow you to secure one of them behind the firewall and then mount your throttle servo in the rectangular opening. There are other threads on this forum that show this type of setup...

Extreme Flight RC 91" Yak 54 build

yeah, I've always been told that the karbonite servo gears don't survive well with the higher vibration of gas engines. Maybe mounting farther aft is a good solution...I'm not so sure...I'll just continue to use metal gear servos.

    Redwing RC 76" MXS-R

ALthough this looks like a handy forward position to mount the smoke pump, I'm asking myself the question now: how will you be providing exit venting for airflow? You've got the air intake holes in the front of the cowl, but where will that air exit the plane? On my 30cc birds and my 50cc...
