    New Here? Introduce yourself!

3 cell 2200's are perfect for a 3dhs 48" edge. It is a perfect first balsa 3d plane. It flies really stable while being pretty capable. I liked my first one so much that I immediately bought a second one when the first one met its doom. It flies Knife Edge the easiest of any plane I have...

Sounds like a pretty minor issue that could happen with any brand of tx to me. I'm guessing they could just mail you out a spring in a first class envelope. Try calling them tomorrow.

3DHS --FLY LOW-- Always OFF TOPIC

Send the parts to me... I'll fix it and fly it with pride :D The broken joiner can be fixed pretty easy... I used a couple of hack saw blades to fix one on my 70". It was easy and not all that time consuming. The rudder should be able to just glue back together and look fairly decent...

Is that the pic of the "munched" slick? Doesn't look too bad to me except that getting parts would be an issue.

The question for me has been... what do I do with those 4s packs if I don't replace it? Not a lot of other 3d planes use that same power system.

Ok, since you ask... here goes. I should have written something like this a long time ago honestly. Brigg is my best friend. I share most of my hobby adventures with him and he has always been a great help to me in all of my modeling pursuits. He is the one that first got me into the hobby...

I'm confused too... Also, it should be noted that you can have power and dependability. I don't want to compromise on either one ;)

I supplied Brigg with the remaining wood needed for this project and he got the balsa sheeting finished. We decided to make our cowl plug out of mdf (particle board). We had talked about making it out of foam and using acetone to dissolve it when finished but I wanted to be able to use it...
