    78'' Extra

Probly gpoing to take more like 15 flips for a pop since there won't be any fuel in the lines and the engine is dry. Mine took a tad of needle messing to get my first start. It was too lean to run out of the box ymmv. It has been awesome ever since though. The motor has not been off the...

I can't wait to hear how this plane hucks... I have always liked how they look but have hesitated cuz I hear they are not that good post-stall. You will have to shed some light on that!

In the crash vid you can see one of the engines is not running. The descriptiom blames the crash on that and I can see that being an issue when trying to recover from a spin like that.

It looks really good. What do you use to hold stuff down? Also, are you making your own extensions?

Except anyone that has been flying electric for long knows that c ratings seem to mean different things to each manufacturer... still... 20c on that size pack is a pretty low rating for delivering that kind of current.

Just as a note... the way I figure out prop load the 19x6 is less than an 18x8. My formula is probably too simple though... I'm sure there is a relevant range it holds true for. Diameter x pitch^2

I just read this entire thread. Great work Propsnwings! I'm excited to see some huckin vids. I'm like you... I have been hesitant to purchase due to lack of information on these planes. It is good to hear that you have had a good experience on the build. Now for the flying!

Maybe next year I can get one of these with a DLE 55. Not in the cards this year...

    Welcome AeroBeez!

I noticed you have SFG's in the vid but I don't see them included in the ARF. Did you make those yourself? Do you use them now? On my 3dhs slicks (51 and 70) I can't imagine needing them. It certainly does fly light! The punch out from hover is inspiring for sure :D Also, nice flying for a...

Your vinyl looks sick on it too! Any chance you could post a huckin vid or two?

Looks amazing! I live by a turf farm but they leave the grass pretty long, even when mowed. I almost never fly there anymore.

Suit yourself but I you can make it as strong as you want it to be IMO. You should see what my 70 slick has bounced back from. It is as strong as ever... just doesn't look brand new anymore lol. It has been broken right in half... fix the fuse and buy a new wing. Much cheaper than a new plane!

70 velox is ok on a DLE 20 isn't it? Edit: just looked it up and the DLE 20 is the recommended gas motor for the 70" velox. And... its on sale for $409.
