    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

I know this isn't an EF plane but I just thought I'd post it to show my dle 35 in action. This aerobeez extra is 71" and is built light. I have not weighed it but I am sure it is 10.5 pounds or less. This flight is also the third flight on the new ring so it is what you would expect from the...

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

I am a happy dle 35 owner but I think the DA is better... especially out of the box. It had more power and can spin a little larger prop. It really depends on what airframe you choose. If you go with one of the larger EF planes you will likely feel a dle 35 is under-powered... especially with...

What's your build plans for the winter?

Sounds like a good list there. I was wondering when you would re-surface :p

NEW Twisted Hobbys 39" Crack Yak WOW

Like Barry said, there are a lot of variables... motor weight, servo weight and placement, escape placement... Trust your measurement and fly it. Then you can adjust as needed till it feels right.

What's your build plans for the winter?

I flew a friend's 4 star 40 last year. I was surprised by how much fun it was.

Tom from what I have heard... you will not be able to get a plane modeled after a scale plane to fly nearly as true as an f3a pattern plane. That is one reason for the difference between f3a and imac. Imac has planes that require more correction by the pilot. Still... you can make them as...

    3dNater's Aerobeez 71" Extra 330SC

Maiden is complete! It needed a little up elevator trim and a few clicks of aileron. CG is great with just a touch of down elevator... I mean a light touch for inverted level flight. The plane tumbles pretty well and does great pop tops. Rolls are pretty axial and snaps are hard and clean...

    3dNater's Aerobeez 71" Extra 330SC

A few more pics... I forgot to mention I had to do some work on the cowl that was originally cut for Gary's dle 30. The rear exhaust on the 35 requires a larger hole.

    3dNater's Aerobeez 71" Extra 330SC

I am planning to fly this plane today! In order to make that happen I have to set up elevator linkages and get servos in the wings. I see that taking a couple hours this morning which will hopefully mean Barry (@bmclaurin) can be there for an afternoon maiden.

I want to give credit where it is due... GYRO did a legitimately awesome job packing up this aerobeez extra I just received. Any parts that could rub against each other were separated. All the parts where securely taped to the box. There was nothing rattling around. The plane arrived in the...
