    Question? C Rating

So if I were to fun an 85a esc with a talon 60 motor at 6s 20c (hook both my 3s batteries together) would it just not power it enough or cook the batteries trying to draw to much power?

    Question? C Rating

At this point I don't really have a preference on brand, one of the helicopters I bought used had a dozen random batteries and the others I have needed have been hobby king specials. I figured for the price even if they go bad I can replace them cheaper than what some companies want for their...

    Question? C Rating

Last season I only had one outdoor electric with 3 batteries, now my collection has grown so I will be able to fly all day with different planes / batteries without charging. With that said I have read different opinions on having a full charge on a "stored" battery. How long before you fly...

    Question? C Rating

I run a timer and have noticed as I start flying harder I use more battery, so far I have yet to get close to cutoff (except the time I forgot a battery in a plane for the weekend) right now the batteries I am using are 15 dollar online specials so not to expensive however when I start getting...

    Question? C Rating

That makes more sense, I had a brain fart apparently. Thank you. As for charging if it is not specified what is industry standard 2 or 3 c? When I have time I charge them slow but it is nice to have them ready in about 30 min when I'm out at the field

    Question? C Rating

so as a clarifying question to an old thread. If I have a 3000mah 3s 20C, that would be rated for 6A correct? Is that the max safe draw for the battery? I assume that the battery would provide the full voltage and power for as long as it has any charge in it (think of a direct short). Would you...

Bipenut I will second that, I have met some great people so far, very helpful and always willing to lend a hand or give some advice when ask. That and every flight is a challenge so far, which keeps my interest.

Titan RC USA Charged/Empty Battery Band Set

That is how I lost my contender.. had enough battery to get up and fly two laps, then everything except the glow engine died and came down nose first at 3/4 throttle. Hit hard enough it blew the tail (both stabilizers) clean off the plane... Newbe lesson learned..
