    HobbyKing Piaget EPP build log

Ok I had a chance to finish this build over the last couple days, so back to where I left off: The "firewall" needs to be attached to a piece of foam, I used welders for this then I lined up the motor and pre drilled and threaded the mounting screws, followed by a drop of thin CA in each hole...

    HobbyKing Piaget EPP build log

Had some time to work on the plane again. It has come along quicker than I anticipated. First thing today was to attach more carbon to the front of the wing, measure and cut to length I used Welders and tapped the carbon down so the foam and carbon could bond straight Next step was to...

    HobbyKing Piaget EPP build log

Ok I could not resist and started the build today. First step was to attach a carbon rod to the elevator. The manual doesn't say which rod to use only to cut one to 385mm. I went through the rest of the manual and laid out the other parts and determined that the shorter rod was the one to cut...

    HobbyKing Piaget EPP build log

Ok so as I was looking for another (backup) indoor flier I came across this Hobbyking EPP plane. for 41 dollars I figured it was a decent deal and worth a shot. Total with all the extras needed this plane can be built for under 75 dollars, not bad when the last EPP plane I built cost double...

It was a little odd to work on landings after being in the gym where my arrivals are just gravity induced.. Think I made a little progress

    Spektrum DX-8, DX-9, DX-18....

Bushwacker that is the deal I got there as well, glad I went with it. I don't see the value in the gen 2 over the gen 1 for the cost difference

    Official 3drcf build and review - lightrc.com 35" rebel z

Can't wait to see this thing fly. Hope it Flies as good as it looks. For the price it looks to be a good plane, a little more work than other foam planes to assemble but saves a lot of money...

    Real Flight 7.5 Planes

That would be great, maybe we can turn this into a share your plane/settings thread? I don't have enough experience to know what is realistic and what is not yet, I would like to run the sim as close to the real deal as possible in an attempt to shorten my leaning curve.

    Real Flight 7.5 Planes

I have not adjusted anything. I had a hard enough time just getting it to run with the dx18. I'm looking at the 3d planes mostly, I am trying to learn 3d, it's a long process

    Real Flight 7.5 Planes

What planes do you all practice with in RF7.5 (or earlier versions)? what planes seem to be the most realistic compared to flying the real thing? It seems that I can do so much more on a simulator than I can in person it feels more like a video game then a simulator for some models I have been...
