    Isn't that latex a bitch to sand? The fine line tape pulled the white base off this model and had to sand it all down.

    I don't know, I followed the guidance that recommended using it. I used gloss paint and able to buff to a shine like enamel paint.

    I'm confused, the outside surface of the sheeting is covered with packaging tape, how then do you wet the surface?

    I'm not sure why you added the JR plugs? Two additional points of high resistance and possible failure. I would make the servo leads long enough to solder the MX plug as well the wires in the fuselage that go to the power box.

    Wouldn't this be nice to know before you covered it? I have moved the wing to get planes to balance rather than add weight, in my case it was nose heavy.

    That's a very nice drill jig. I have made similar jigs using aluminum flat bar and Robart drill bushing. I like the clear bar.

    I believe that the inboard section is less effective generating rotational force since it is closer to the center of rotation therefore more deflection is needed for a strip aileron which generates additional drag.

    If you head temps are 280, those exhaust pipes are much higher. I'd move the servo location and send that back for a check up.
