if the only two servo bays you see in the back of the plane are across from each other, then you are missing the rudder servo bay...look lower on the left side of the fuse (I think)...use a bright halogen flashlight from the other side of the plane to help find it...it should be there. You...

    Discussion Servo Power Board

Correct - the power board does not regulate any power. What I forgot to mention in my earlier post was that I have a 6v regulator between the power board and my RX which is regulating the power to the RX (only - not the servos - the servos get their power from the board). That is one reason...

Kind of at a crossroads, need some advice/opinions/etc.

Wade, SnowDog here ;) good to hear from you! I'm gonna give you different advice than Pontus...stick with a gasser; you won't regret it once you get your problems figured out. Once you get your 71" Slick flying, you will not be able to stop flying it! Which 30cc motor do you have in the 72"...

    Discussion Servo Power Board

Actually, I am happy to share that I pulled the trigger on this power board a month or so ago and it works so well in my 71" Slick that I purchased another one for my 84" Bigfoot and it is working very nicely in both of these airframes! My Airtronics receivers are only rated up to 6.6v and I...

    Inexpensive servos is today's market

The Solar D771's were a failure at factory specs (what Matt said - blowback, nowhere near the promised torque)...but after checking with some others on this forum, I found out that these servos work just fine on 7.4v even though they are only rated at 6v. At 7.4v they have the speed and torque...

New Product New! Hitec Battery Buzzer : Low Voltage Battery Alarm : $9.99

Can I have the alarm without the cutoff? I don't want it cutting out my battery even if it is hitting LVC...I'd rather kill the pack than the plane.

Ha ha ha....cows love airplanes too!

whoa...chewing on a lipo? that can't be good...better hope the farmer never finds out who dumped the plane there!
