    im surprised to hear the DLE35 is lighter than the dle-30... do you have the same length standoffs? if so , I would consider using longer standoffs to get the motor forward instead of adding dead weight. also, where is rudder servo?

    The extra time and work that a balsa kit requires is one drawback because it does lead to a stronger emotional attachment;)

    My plane of choice for the above is my 65" Vyper and my Airtronics SD-10G with 3 position switches for every control surface as well as 5 flight modes that function in addition to the 3 position switches...more modes that my feeble brain can handle. I would think the Extra would also be a good...

    The challenge of filming your own flights is....well....filming your own flights! :) I've got a camera but I don't have a way to mount it on anything like a hatcam. My video cam is decent but not very expensive...I'm guessing your $50 walmart special is not much different...the real key for me...

    The 45amp...and there have been posts on this from about what those numbers really mean. I do need to clarify my, because I am using power poles on 6270 airplanes and smaller. I used a larger power system I might use the 75 powerpoles
