    Go bigger! Get the 30% - my buddy actually found a deal on this very plane - the pilot 30% Edge 540 in the awesome green scheme...NIB for a steal...he's got a DA-60 in his, should be ready when flying season gets here!

    Do you have any issues with cooling of the motor? Since the middle hole will be covered by a spinner, the two outside holes would seem to channel air "around" the motor...what kind of motor temps are you seeing?

    pitts mufflers for dle-55s and such run about $50 or so...perhaps that would be a better option?

    ouch sorry to hear about the crash jamief1777 :( maybe you can post some pics to show us the damage? most people want to write off an airframe that is sometimes completely repairable. The Vyper is especially easy since the fuselage is box-like. if you post the pics maybe we can talk you...
