You need to add Tulsa if possible. That one should be crazy fun too! Last one of the year, and I'll be there to end this year's series with a bang!

I did not. The only thing I did was remove the idle set screw/spring.

I never changed out the arm. Just used a short arm on my servo, and used a throttle curve to handle the "expo". Works perfect.

Extra 330 EPP Full Fuse Coming soon to Aerobeez! Pics!

The mantis is a great ESC, however id get the 65a. A little overkill is always better for electronics longevity. My suggestion on the motor is a 13x6.5 prop... and whichever motor kv you need based on planned cell count: 950kv for 3s or 800kv for 4s

Yes, sort of. That setup is really nice on the 13x6.5 prop with 4s. On 3s, you'd need at least 14x7, maybe even a 14x8. However, my recommendation is that these motors last longer on 13" props, the 14" are hard on the bearings when doing 3D.

An EXCELLENT motor for a great price is the Sunnysky 2820-950: http://www.buddyrc.com/sunnysky-x2820-950kv.html It's a good 3s motor with a 13x6.5 prop. For 4s and a 13x6.5, thy the 800kv version of the same motor. The Turnigy ESC (or anything Turnigy IMHO) is usually not worth the money since...

    3DHS 60cc Yak-55

Should have my 91" Yak sometime next week. Got some other birds in the build queue, but look forward to getting this one built and flying. Was originally planning on using the Motrolfly 5335, but I decided to order a GP61 instead. I like how well it powered my 92" edge that I couldn't resist...
