Scale 1/3 Scale Extra 330L Build.

I use the soft tubing 60A durometer, 1/8" x 1/4". Too bad dealing with McMaster Carr in Canada is a problem, to me they are just like Amazon Prime, order today here tomorrow. I see the MC price is $6.60 a foot for the Viton, based on my searches, the Sullivan Proflex is cheaper. I do remember...

Scale 1/3 Scale Extra 330L Build.

No I have not, but I don use Viton from McMaster Carr, never had a problem with 1/8" Viton and 5/32" tubing. Can't image how you split it? I use the Sullivan Viton stoppers as well. Lately I've made my own tanks out of water bottles, copper sheet and 5/32" brass tube. Cut a hole in the cap...

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Here is F&M 3/4" pinking tape cut with the 3 mm pinking shears. Not exact but close enough and much better than a straight cut. Thanks for the tip.

PM Research Mini Engine Lathe Build

Oh, I know that I was simply testing, I had to change the tool that I ground after I noticed it was cutting more like a thread. At any rate PM me your address and I will mail it to you. I didn't make the reliefs as big on each end as shown on the drawing since there was no dimension provided...

PM Research Mini Engine Lathe Build

Steven, here is the test cut. I didn't put a center in the part so the final cut should have less chatter. I can drill and ream the 1/8" hole but have no way currently to put the key slot in. I may have a 1/32" cutoff blade that could be fashioned into a tool.

Scale Nelitz 1/3 scale Cub build

Here's what I did on the Champ and it has worked well. I like the idea of ditching the aluminum servo tray and just using the tiller arm.

PM Research Mini Engine Lathe Build

So the collet holder is bolted to the backplate on your lathe? Did it come machined to fit your register (spigot fit for those who worked with Westinghouse power generation equipment) fit or did you finish it? I have ER32 collets and if I had a collet holder similar to yours I would leave it on...
