let's get a thread going, i'd be curious to learn more. that's pretty cool being able to get a weather report specifically from the flying field. a lot of general aviation airports have dial up weather reporting, it's just a matter of finding the number and calling it. but for everyone else...- Bartman

The I'm NOT going out flying thread.
i put in an above ground pool at the last house we were at so when we moved it was assumed i'd do another one.......well that turned into stripping the top off the deck, pulling off the railing and steps.......today i'm pulling electric across the basement and out across the deck for the filter...- Bartman

i'm not thinking so much about dedicated events for these contests but more like offering a format that can be used within a larger two or three day event. if people want to do the legwork to make it a special day event then they can do that too. hell, even the judges can be picked locally and...- Bartman
