Scale Bud Nosen 1/4 Scale Cub?

Yeah you have a bunch of idiots down there with you who don't understand that those few times it does snow they gotta slow the F down on the roads. Don't seem to understand that snow is slippery.

I guess this could have been in the postman thread as well but here we are. New motor for the 48" EF V2 Edge 540. Been running the Eflite and it has performed well but I keep seeing more and more switching to the T-motor and it seems to provide ballistic power so I just had to try it. Also was...

Yeah diagram should be on the back of the peckerhead cover. Or the junction box rather as peckerhead is more the term used by us sparky's.

Tony has nailed it down for the most part already but yes there appears to be a label on the inside of the peckerhead that will show how it should be wired for the different configurations. Hopefully its labeled based off the colors of the wires since I see none of the wires have proper tags on...

Yeah I haven't decided yet if I should fix it or just order another one as a new cowl is only $31.

Yeah don't be a dummy like me. Trying out the new wood Falcon prop just on the ground. Decided why not run it up and down the driveway to see how it pulls. Didn't have the wings on and when I went to turn the plane back to me after zipping down the driveway it rolled over. I guess at least I...

Discussion The I’m Going/Went Flying Thread

Today's lunch break was a good time. Took my 48" EF Edge and met my buddy who brought out his 85" Muscle Bipe, 67" Turbo Raven, and the old school Filton Extra. The Edge never disappoints. The Fliton Extra was far more capable than we expected. Muscle Bipe is a big ole baby in the air and will...

I used to have a 40fp that was piped on a small 3D profile. Fun little engine. I'm done with nitro though. To pricey and finiky when tuning. Then with the acquisition of these two planes the guy also handed me these two little cox engines, Been a long time since I have seen a .049 and the .010...

Little different than my usual. Picked up this Great Planes PT-40 from a club member. Don't think it had ever been flown as I see no evidence of nitro slime on it. Going to convert it to E power. I'm going to start with this G15 sized outrunner I have that I think should fly it well. If I...

I've done the soldering iron trick before as well. It works great. It does take a while if you have a bunch to do though.

Yeah I gave her a couple options of what I thought could be done. First and easiest would have been just list it all as one big lot and someone come and get it. This path while the easiest most likely would have yielded the least amount of money. Option 2 was trying to list everything on market...

Brought a new bird home to my workshop yesterday. Flying buddy passed away back in December and his wife reached out a couple of months ago to help get all of his stuff into the hands of people that would enjoy it over just wasting away in the garage. So yesterday we got it all out into her...

I actually really enjoy using the hobby king covering. Always been much easier to me at least to work with than monokote.

Mike I say hold on to all of those rocks. Once the runway is complete you can make a nice natural stone firepit to hang out around with friends for some evening flying.
