    Nice flying, what is the engine's weight and what porp. are you using. Is the reeds cage machined or molded.

    The tool is not my idea, I can't remember where I saw it but it works great. My was made out of a broken landing gear leg.

    My 103 rebuilt is done, I'm going to start installing the electronics and engine, it might be a couple of weeks before the test fly. I order a red cowl, but what I got doesn't match the true red ultracote.

    Mine is tail heavy, but the manual calls for 4.5 in. measured at the wing tip. That is the starting point, from there you customize it. I know you will have to move the batteries.

    That is plenty of power. I had been using two 2300 maH A123 in my 3DHS Slick 104 and I'm planning on using the same batteries on this Extra. I just need to order the Cowl to finish with the trim colors, install the engine, fuel tank, elevator servos and batteries and it will be ready to fly...

    I had the top portion of the cowling and I used it as a reference and found out that from top to bottom the center of the firewall has to align with the center of the engine. You are right, thank you for your help.

    I'm about to drill the fire wall on my 103 and noticed that the line from top to bottom is not at the center of the fire wall, it is about 5/16 bellow. Is this right? Thank you for your help. Humberto
