    3DHobbyShop 51" AJ Slick

Even worse is when you are cutting out the wing tube holes and don't pay attention (there is another round hole below) and cut the wrong hole. Patched it with the piece I cut for my arming switch. It is just below the wing and partially hidden so if you weren't looking for it you wouldn't...

Is it just the motor or the whole gear box assy? You never know the micro stuff usually goes pretty quick on the other site, worth a try. You haven't burnt that bridge yet have you? Lot more volume as far as users go. Gotta get to the market if you want to sell. I was just trying to...

Might be a bit high on the micro stuff. Yea a NIB 6400L goes for $60, but I see used ones in the other classifieds go for $40 to $50 all the time. Or even two of them for about $70.

    89 AJ Slick repair

Good job Manta. Definately a learing process that can be used in the future. Not saying that you are a bad pilot, just that things happen. You could also pay it forward to other buddies if needed, now that you have the know how.

    Extreme Flight Owners Thread

Can I join in here guys? I just picked up a 45" Extra, yea I know old school. I'm really impressed with how strong this is built and still light. Everything looks like it is 1/4" balsa, hence the strength. Mine currently has unknown servos and motor but I will be fixing that soon enough...

    Prop adaptors keep deforming

I have a 2815 with Ken now that only had one flight, bent the prop adapter and motor mount. I sent it to Ken to have checked out, he said the repairs were a new mount, new prop adapter and a new front bearing. I was surprised by this but maybe Ken was just being safe. Just wanted to point out...

I've seen somewhere (maybe on Spektrum site) that even the 6100/6110/6200/7000 are good up to 9V, I could be wrong but hopefully not this time. I have not tried powering them at 9V or even much over 6V.
