Altitude Hobbies Hosted ZTW ESC discussion/ Q & A thread

Yes, it is 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0v. The 45A and higher have a 6A SBEC. The price is not that much more -- in the smaller sizes, it is $1-$3. In the larger sizes, it is $4-$7 depending on model. Unfortunately, they do require a different programming card. Garret

    ZTW ESCs Q&A

Jim, We finally figured out the discrepancy between the sizes Quantum sells and what was listed in our catalog. ZTW makes 3 series of ESCs: A-series, B-series, and Land Power series. We cannot sell the B-series as they are sold under a different name through another US retailer (they are...

    ZTW ESCs Q&A

Hi, Jim -- I contacted ZTW with a couple questions and they forgot to answer about the 120A. He was writing me the night before they were leaving for the Shangai model expo, so they are out of the office at the moment. I'll try to get an answer out of them as soon as possible; in the meantime...

    ZTW ESCs Q&A

For some reason, ZTW only offers the 100A HV to us -- I don't know if there is some special deal between Quantum and ZTW, or if they no longer offer those sizes and Quantum just has old stock. I'll check with my rep and see if we can get these other models as well. Garret

    ZTW ESCs Q&A

Hey, Jim -- 95A would probably be cuttin' it close as it is generally recommended to choose an ESC rated at 120% of your max current. So, using this calculation you would want about a 115A. It would probably work fine, you would just need to pay careful attention to your amps. I wish I would...

    ZTW ESCs Q&A

Yep, they are called Land Power (brand name) and are now available. They are nearly identical to the A series with the exception of the adjustable BEC voltage and a few other additional parameters. We just placed a trial order for some of the ProBro guys to test them out for us. If all goes...

    Suppo motor & ESC discussion/ Q & A thread

Greetings, We see a lot of discussion about Suppo motors and ESCs all across RC boards. We have been very impressed with their company and product line. I figured I would create a thread specifically for Q&A about these motors and ESCs as we are quite familiar with their products. Also, we have...
