I can't understand a word you just said. You sound like a dog with peanut butter on the roof of your mouth.

Bare in mind, the Mintor factory is in Italy, too.

Discussion Long term planning: Getting into gas

Tune it anyway. Factory tune is only so you can start it. Factory settings go out the window as soon as it leaves their building. Always tune a gas engine for peak performance and throttle transition. Even running it just a tad rich doesn't help anything but to build carbon. Tuning it correctly...

Tune that sucker. You're not doing it any favors running it rich. I did have a Mintor 110 very briefly. Lots of compression and made awesome power. I can't speak for how they hold up in the long run as I turned it back in to my sponsor after my plane locked out and was destroyed.

I figured I'd take the conversation here to keep from cluttering the new member's thread. It's all good Gerald. I completely undestand ya'lls absence. I wish the circumstances were more in ya'lls favor. As for the stones, I'm hoping that was a one time deal. I wouldn't say it was rough, but that...

Uh, YEAH! I can count all the drinks I've had this year on one hand. I think it'd be ok to have one or two in Austin. =)

Think nothing of it. Like I said, I didn't intend for my post to sound uppity or anything. I just personally enjoy a drama free environment after dealing with the knuckleheads at work all day. :)

I work for the company that was the original Diamond Archery. Since selling our Diamond line to Bowtech Archery, all we do is machine all the risers, cams and modules for them. Since getting back into RC and losing my lease, I haven't stayed on the up and up in the archery world. I haven't even...

Just my opinion, but this is kind of a fresh start here and dragging other sites' bs just brings negativity. It's probably best left where it is. Like I said, just my opinion and I don't intend for that to come across foully. =)

The first version was 78". They didn't clip it, they added more wing to it. Not only do you have more wing area, but you also qualify as a legal "big bird" for events still carrying the IMAA requirements of true 1/4 scale or minimum 80" wingspan for a monoplane.

And for the record, Trunk Monkey is also the one in the pics with his shorts at his knees. I'm the one in the pic that put them there. :D

Cool thread! Rob Maxwell. 37 years old, 20+ years in the hobby and have dabbled in just about all of it with the exception of sub micro, free flight, and rc tanks or sailboats. Im mainly focused on 3D and giant scale, but still like to keep an electric or two around. I have lived here in Bossier...

Indeed it is. And no lie, he was doing one stick rifle rolling circles at the time. Sadly, he wasn't talented enough to pull his shorts back up while night flying a 104" Slick. That'll teach him to hack my Facebook account ever again, or at least wear a better belt if he does. :D
