WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

I have cut the 3/8 by half hardwood piece that goes between the rails and acts as the attach point for the firewall later. In this picture I have sanded it to fit in the slot and behind it is the 1/2 inch landing gear ply block that comes in the kit. I have marked out a spot for my throttle...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

There are 1/2 thick by one inch wide...and one 1/2 by 2 1/4 inch block (per the plans) that are place over the anti rotation pins and the wing tube cut out. I cut them from the 1/2 inch stock that comes with the kit to fit in between the tubes/rails. These are glued down with thick CA. After...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

I then cut from a 3/8x 1/2 balsa stick the uprights that fit in between the tubes and glued them in with thick CA.

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

So both fiberglass tubes are set. BTW, I scuffed them up before setting them in gorilla glue for best bond. Once in place I lock them in with thick CA zip kicked to keep any of the expanding glue from moving them. Just a spot here and a spot there. Next is the horizontal stab saddle which is...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

BTW, the first photo in post number 9 there is a 3/8 x 1/2 inch hardwood rail that continues the 3/8 x 1/2 balsa box outline into the center section and that is epoxied to the wing center section and continues to the nose piece. As a general rule on these planes... anything forward of the wing...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

That is it for tonight. In the morning when dry I will take the 1/4 inch wood dowel for a front and rear anti rotation pin and gently sand them so that they will fit both sides of the fuse center section (should have done this already). Tomorrow I glue in the center section bracing and the fun...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

Next glued in is the .505 fiberglass tube. I like to use gorilla glue on this item for the gap filling properties and also it is not brittle like ca. Once I clamp it in place and am waiting for the GG to expand, I run a bead of medium CA down the tube to insure it wont move while the CA is...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

The tabs are tacked together with medium CA. There is no strength in them, but we want to lock them in for orientation. Next the balsa 3/8x 1/2 inch sticks are set in the aft section. I put a mark on the lite ply wood where it stops up front and then use thick CA to glue them down... I follow...

WrongWayRc 50-60cc GBR (GeeBeeRacer) Build thead

We start with the fuse center section. The 1/8 inch ply center section (aka wing crutch area) has an interlocking tab to the lite ply tail section. There is a big and small tab so you can only lock them one way. The way to tell which way is up is to engage the tabs and lay the center...

Wrong Way Rc profile kits now in stock for the build season.

Will add pictures tomorrow. Essentially you build a hatch on the top of the wing where you use two 14-20 nylon bolts with butterfly nuts to install the wing before flight. I install my receiver on a shelf in the fuse so that the throttle, elevator and rudder stay hooked up all the time... To...

These are all builders kits. The EE series has extensive CNC parts for a quick build. The WW series have less CNC parts but the non cnc parts are parts like fuse outline, wing spars... also goes together quick with more need for cutting individual sticks.

    HazzBro's EEv2 / VVRC 40cc twin

The Williams Wing option was designed for Jeff Williams by Hazzbro...(BTW that was Jeff in the last video) It is a thinner airfoil and slight difference in wing aspect ratio....Not as floaty but can cut through the air better for what some pilots call a looser feel.. I will be adding the option...
