    60" Laser-EXP

Which motor is Ken working on for ya? Put 6 more packs through the Laser this morning before the winds kicked up, and with the ESC moved back 6" from the rear of the motor and mounted under the battery tray. I made a KE pass to check for coupling and was able to let go of the ali/elv stick...

    60" Laser-EXP

Nice flying Hone. Completed "the build" and flew mine yesterday. The 60" Laser flies very smooth, precise, and tracks like it's on rails even in light winds. I ran six consecutive packs through it Tuesday morning, and with flight times of 6:30 ~ 7:00 minutes each, the 5S 4000mAH pack comes...

    60" Laser-EXP

Air brake:) Should come in handy for "waterfalls" and crazy tumbles.

    60" Laser-EXP

Almost done, just have to install servos, motor, ESC, and mount the cowl. Assembling the 60" Laser goes quickly. All of the major openings in the covering for servo bays, main gear, wing tube, fuse cooling vent, and etc. were already made on mine. As recommended in the manual, I spent a little...

    60" Laser-EXP

My 60" Laser arrived, and with a detailed manual. Build looks the same as the other EXP frames.

    60" Laser-EXP

The 60" Laser arrived. Man, this thing has a humongous and very roomy fuselage that's close to the same height and width as the EF 70" Extra 300, though shorter in length of course. Kinda reminds me of the proportions on the A.J. Slicks. Rudder servo placement is in the tail, so no pull-pull...

    60" Laser-EXP

Those are impressive "spec wise" mini BB MG servos. I would be tempted to give them a go myself but already have a set of 7245s' on the way.

    60" Laser-EXP

Shipping label generated for mine too. Usually, from past experience with EF, packages go out via UPS shortly after the shipping notification e-mail is received, i.e. by that evening. And being just one state away I usually receive my packages the next day. Shipping to the "left" coast via UPS...

    RealFlight 6 Models

I'll second that. A 60" Laser for RF would be great.

    60" Laser-EXP

Get both:) I'd really like a 78 myself but my EF 70 Extra 300 just barely fits in my hatchback. Planning on having a plane trailer for next year though, and may just jump straight to the 60cc version. In the meantime 60" Red Laser ordered and confirmed as of a moment ago.

    MEDIA BLITZ! 3DHS Tennessee Fly-Low-In - August 15-18, 2013 Knoxville, TN

The foam block battery end supports are handy to use initially until the CG setting is finalized. They are slated to be replaced with ventilated versions made from lite-ply to achieve maximum battery cooling for hot weather flying etc. I'll post the details in my blog once the project is completed.

    3DHS Tennessee Fly-Low-In - August 15-18, 2013 Knoxville, TN

Glad ya could make it Ben. Pleasure meeting you in person. Thanks for sharing your soldering iron-N-tools and work space on the 3DHS uber work table! You, Noll and all the team are a great bunch to rub elbows with, trade notes on plane setups, and etc. Very helpful and friendly. "Come on...

Great job on building the 58 Zach. Fastest build I've watched, and you had it done in what? Less than a day? -Byron

    3DHS Tennessee Fly-Low-In - August 15-18, 2013 Knoxville, TN

This Fly Low In is SMOKING! Excellent turn out, and if this event isn't already at the top of everyone's "must attend" list, better edit your list!?! I'm just saying! The team pilots and 3DHS staff are a great group of folks, friendly and helpful and ready to lend a hand checking planes and...

    MEDIA BLITZ! 3DHS Tennessee Fly-Low-In - August 15-18, 2013 Knoxville, TN

Indeed it is, an excellent turnout, and lots of talented youngsters flying super 3D . This event will quickly make the "must attend" list if it's not there already. The team pilots and 3DHS staff are all super nice and helpful, and they can cook too! Darn good fish fry! Can we have it again...

    3DHS Tennessee Fly-Low-In - August 15-18, 2013 Knoxville, TN

The first day of the fly-in is great, the weather couldn't be better, and the soybeans are up high 'nuff to make for a nice cushion for smaller planes pushing the fly slower-N-lower envelope:)

"This is no Huckfest... :)" Funny. But in the interest of not being politically correct (never did like politics much) how about Huck-Low-In:) 63 degrees and partly cloudy 26 miles from the field. Should be there shortly.

7 AM Thursday morning, 57 degrees and clear just north of the field. Now this is my kind of Huckfest weather:)
