    Ya, the 30x13W are nice too, both spool up fast but the 31x10w has more lbs of thrust for zipping out of a hover

    when do power distribution boards become necessary

    If you do go with the matchbox and don't connect power directly to the servos I would at least run an extra capasitor on the receiver to take the amp spikes I like the new smiley choices sleepy.:banana-dancing-with:untroubled:

    I think the type of flying you do has some bearing. A 50cc plane doing a snap pulls between 13-15 amps on hv setup with the large 3d control surfaces. A 100cc setup with 7 control servos pulls between 20 -27 amps on a hard snap Most standard recievers are rated for about 10 amps...

    falcon 31x10W will spool up fast and lots of thrust. It will rip though

    Ya, I love the price of the graupner telemetry and recievers. Every time I sell telemetry parts I am amazed they are about 1/2 the price of the Jeti, but I do love my Jeti too!

    cool. Unless you fly around at 1/2 to full throttle the plug is an indication of the low needle, if black rich on a the low needle. Like brad said, every engine runs different. When engines get to my shop with about these needle settings I find the bottom is often rich and top end is...

    Ya, the large smooth pipe does not weigh much more that the med smooth pipe anyway. just have to adapt up to 30mm :upset:

    Yeah, I agree, no two engines tune the same way. They are always plus or minus at least a 1/4 turn
