    Well the weekend came and gone. I had no time to work on the plane. I am building a folding out feed table for my table saw. I cant fly either cause my truck is in the body shop for few weeks. A taxi driver hit me.

    So I got a table saw. I always wanted one. And I made an edge true jig for it. Really simple. This weeken I want to start the sheeting. What part do you think is a good part to start with.

    So the aluminum stock is the start of my edge true guide. I sanded. With higher and higher grits. Then put several coats of wax on. All that's left to do is apply sand paper and test. Fuse pics are what's. Done so far

    Yes my main support is wood glue. Hysol is used only as fillets. To strengthen up the areas.

    Ya Terry's perfect fit and finish are making me look good. It's really a fun easy build. I just hope he has more planes on the back burner. Only thing I do different than him is I'm using wood glue on almost everything. Med ca just sets way to fast for me. The wood glue gives me time for...

    Man. This kit is so much fun to build. I have the fuse sides all on. Actually the fuse is almost done minus some small things. Pictures to come. Terry the gear plate holes get covered with the plate you designed correct.

    My god it was scary. I glued in the floor and it was scary. I used wood glue and I'll follow with hysol. It's a nice tight fit. I had to use about 12 clamps. It's now solid as a rock.
