    VVRC 40cc Twin

Hey Ray, Main reason I had my prop clocked that way is because I'm left handed and couldn't flip it fast enough with my right. I had to set it so I could slap the prop with my left hand. On all my other engines I just set it at 2 o'clock and do my normal flip with my right hand.

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

    Extreme Flight 76/83" MXS

Just wanted to show a picture of the truturn spinner I got for my MXS. The blue is different than what is on the MXS. It does match the rest of the aluminum bling I have all over the plane like the washers I used on the cowl, canopy, stabs, and wheel pants, as well as the blue secraft ball links...

    Field equipment: Refueling bottle setup

The aluminum cap isn't connected to the black plastic that spins so that's no problem.

    3D fuel tank??

For a 30 cc I would use a 16oz but if you're not heavy on the throttle all the time you could use a 12oz and still get about 10-12 minutes of flight time. Most use 32oz on 120cc planes. I use 4titude tanks. If you get one at the link below enter summer14 to get 10% off. 12oz...

NEW Twisted Hobbys 39" Crack Yak WOW

That's awesome you're enjoying it so much. The Laser is my favorite so if you like this even more that says a lot. What're you using for the power system? My hobby funds are too low to pick up this plane now but it is definitely in my near future :)

Picked up a sweet toolbox from Costco the other day. Plenty of storage for me and a nice wood top to work on. Now I finally have enough space for all my stuff :p

    4Titude Or Fiji BottleTank

Yeah I had a o ring fail too in a fourtitude. Jason was awesome though and got me a replacement tank right away. I was told they had a bad run of O rings. I haven't had any trouble since and they're all I use.

    Control Arm question

The MXS does use M3 hardware(ball links, nuts, and bolts). I used spot on rc arms which are available in M3. If you use arms tapped for 4-40 hardware you can either retap the arm or just replace the M3 bolts with 4-40 bolts and deal with the slop it creates with the M3 ball link(you change out...

    What's Up With 3DHS??

Just wanted to say these are very small companies. Not couple hundred employees small but 3-4 small. EF is Curtis, Chris, and Melissa. 3DHS is Noll, Ben, and I think they have one more guy who works the warehouse. Also, these companies definitely bring in more small planes than big planes at...

    Idle Up

Hey Ray :) I do. Gives me more confidence for things like hammerheads, tumbles, and tailslides. I flip it to idle up when I'm on the runway ready for take off and flip back to low idle when I make my landing approach.
