    Redwing has their 35cc Yak 55 on sale this weekend. $300. Normally $389. I have their 50cc Yak 55 and it is a great flying airplane.

    Truth is, I really don't mind electric and I admit there are several advantages to electric planes. I guess I just have that Tim Allen part of me that wants to hear a gas engine fire up and then grunt loudly as I advance the throttle!

    Somehow I got water into the auger of my pellet smoker. That caused the pellets that were in there to swell up and completely clog the tube. 3 hours later and some choice words and I have it working again. Unfortunately the dinner for my Valentine is going to be about 45 mins late...

    I saw 2 different designs. One looks good for lighter aircraft and the other for heavier planes. I ran to Lowe's and picked up some PVC. I will make one of each and post it somewhere on the forum.

    That is awesome Bipenut and SupaTim. To be able to hang out in a place like that and build planes would be a blast. I love those PVC plane stands! How about a quick rundown on how those are made? I can see them as a perfect way to put planes in the garage so they take up less space.
