Discussion Benches and Shop Setups & Storage for Model Aircraft

I recently built a bench in my garage. Adding Castors to the legs might not be a terrible idea at all as long as they can be locked. Mine is nothing fancy, just decided to build it out of 2x3's and 1/2" mdf for the top. The top got sander sealer finished off with polyurethane.

By the way, I do really like the way this video is put together. It is much more professional than your average joe youtube vid. I wish James the best of luck and I like the entrepreneurial spirit.

Man it is so hard to sell something when so many people are giving it away for free already. In this day and age I don't think many people would pay more than a couple of dollars. I might pay more for advanced videos that could help me get to the next level if I really wanted it. I feel that...

Here is something you can try also. I just found it in one of the RCG threads. You are not the only one having this issue. -If they have the website on a new server your pic might not have latest DNS addressing. Open command prompt (in accessories) and run "ipconfig /flushdns" One user...

Xpress I'm guessing you are running into a caching issue at the DNS server level. It should update and clear up in time.

Yea that is a really tough deal. I had one like that that ended poorly because the nose was up with no energy when it died. Ended up landing right on the prop hub.

How much damage pontus? Looks like mostly cowl and possibly some motorbox. How is the landing gear?

My buddy just put some graphtec gear on his 50cc pilot yak. I think it stands at least a few inches taller with that gear. The stock gear had one of the legs sheer off on a bad cross-wind landing.

SupaTim builds a 73" AJ Laser!!

I'm not Tim but have a DLE 35 I have been running for 2 years on unregulated 6.6v life packs. It seems happy. I am also using a 16 oz tank and fly for 8-10 minutes with a quarter tank or more left when I land depending on what I do on the flight.

    Problem starting new DLE111

It could be lean. Adding baffles to direct air over the engine is a good idea as well. How is your ratio of exit hole compared to intake on the front of the cowl? It should be about 3:1. To address a lean issue you should really tune the high end with a tachometer. First tune for max rpms...

5 amp bec? I would barely trust that on a 48" plane.

I can't weigh in on the carbon props but I have noticed my falcon 19x8 performs better than my xoar 19x8 on a DLE 35ra. It has better spool up and better overall power and speed. I like the xoar fine but I can tell the difference between them and prefer the falcon.

Aerobeez 70″ Slick PRO Step By Step Build Guide

Rolling to the right is fighting against the torque of the prop so the throttle inputs are a bit different. So aside from doing opposite stick inputs you have to deal with that as well. It is a challenge to get it all together and just takes time.
