    Counting the flips can actually help you find a problem before it gets bad. Same as watching the amount of mah you put back in your batteries for X amount of flights. Same as having an eye on how much fuel left after landing.... I might be over zealous but I feel knowing my planes and...

    Escapade MX 30cc ARF by Great Planes

    Now that you mention it it really is true ! And also a similar fat airfoil. Should make it a much better flier than the smaller Escapade MX which is far from just an average sport plane. Its fast, snaps aggressively but still a fun plane, just much more advanced than a typical sport plane.

    I'm going to fly my Beaver. I hate it, the engine in it is really crappy, I use my worst radio in it. But after the coldest fonth of februrary in 115 years up here, the Beaver will be perfect !!

    da 150 prop

    I'd run a 30x12 Mejzlik or Falcon even for 3D on stock mufflers. You lose some low speed thrust but you gain so much energy (speed) to do all the new 3D tricks.

    number of flips...

    DA150 I rock the prop back and forth until I hear gas getting to the carb with choke on. Then if I stopped at the right time its 1 flip to get running, if I overdid it, then its 2 or 3 flips. DM33 6-8 with choke to pop 3-4 with choke off then it runs with mediocre power LOL.

    Looks great. I have yet to have a smoke pump that does not leak from every seam. It looks like they went an extra step to avoid that. And the price is right too.

    May I add, although a questionable comparison, people spend hundreds of dollars in quiet exhaust systems or pretty CF 3 bladed props to save just some points from the sound score while spending a few hours on the programming of the radio can litterally save a round or more.

    I have seen SOOOOO many zeros because of wrong switch settings... Some pilots are flipping switches so much its ridiculous. Thats just one more thing to mess up, unnecessary workload.
