Just a small up date finished the bottom and did the bottom of one stabilizer.

All the Blue is done on the bottom and the cowl. Covering the cowl is not easy with film it has a lot of shape and compound curves, it took some time and patients. But the most important thing is the colour matches perfectly, and no wrinkles.

Well it’s time to make a decision stop building and put the plane to one side and hopefully I can get my hands on some windshield material, just not having any luck.
One thought crossed my mind was just cover the front of the plane with some balsa and just paint it black.

You're just looking for 0.30" PETG Sheet 11x24 ?

Another option would be to 3D Print in Transparent Filament... CAD Nightmare but plausible.

Thanks for the help but McMaster will not ship to me for some reason. They were my first try. I did order a 4 by 8 sheet. Do have 3D printer. But thanks again for trying to help.

Well it feels like I just won the lottery just got a call from fibreglass supplier that he has some windshield material for me. Will be picking it up tomorrow a bit of a drive but that doesn’t matter as long as he has the material. Guess what I will be doing tomorrow late afternoon.

I now know why people paint cowls i covered my cowl today. It took me from 8 Am til 6 Pm to cover the cowl and I am exhausted. It is the most difficult item I have ever had to cover, hopefully I never have to do it again.
