Has anyone converted a two/three way Tx switch to a rotary knob? Thinking about swapping it on a DX6... I have a feeling the radio wont allow it. Anyone?

I know Arron Bates has played around with switches, all I have found is on/off style toggle switch changed to a push button so far.

I haven't tried it. But I would think that a two or three way switch would use a digital input into the micro-processor and a rotary knob would use an analog input into the micro-processor. So I'm not sure you could do a direct replacement.

Bummer. I wonder since the DX6 is identical to the DX7 other than a rotary knob and a three pos switch (and +$100), there may be an input for a rotary knob already integrated on the circuit board... hmmmm

Typically the rotary knobs use a potentiometer inside whereas the switch just bridges different connections- often times there is no direct compatibility there.
