Yeah I bet the guys that bought the PowerSafe telemetry receivers don't see a lot of humor in it, but it is funny.:lol2:

Several years back I was, cash half out of wallet, from buying a Spektrum from a club member but I decided to wait until I did some research. It did not take more than half an hour spread over numerous forums to find I was not a fan, far to many issues in such a short search. I have never been a fan boy of any brand, I am a fan boy of what I need at the time, what others have found in it, and then, where can I get it. I have recently been looking at Jeti, online and at the field, they very well may be my next radio.

A lot of the Spektrum problems in the early days that I saw were from guys trying to run 4.8 volt nicads with lots of servos. A VERY bad combination with Spektrum. I run a lot of Spektrum receivers and have never had a problem, but I run redundant batteries with plenty of voltage.

I think most all of the equipment out there now days is pretty good, but there are still people that could screw up an anvil with a tack hammer.;)

Another thought about radio equipment problems. If for comparison sake we say all brands had a 2% failure rate. If brand A sold a hundred thousand units and brand B sold twenty thousand, you would find a lot more complaining about brand A even though the failure rate was the same. Something to think about when comparing things.

I recently bought a Jeti DC-24 (previously always a JR guy) and it is amazing. Programming is actually logical and simple! Imagine that!

When there is thread after thread of issues and numerous threads about recalls, there is nothing for me to think about. Don't matter to me how many of which were sold or why there are the issues, not when it come's to putting a model anywhere from $2500 to $15000 in the air, not for me anyway.....

Congrats @Wacobipe on the new Jeti, I will have one by end of the year as my T8FG is getting rather worn.

I have the T8FG as well, been looking at the Jeti DS-16.... I kinda feel a disconnect with Futaba lately. They are pressing their high end Tx's lost support of the T8FG, no updates, or anything exciting to look forward to. maybe that's just me trying to sweeten the pot on a jeti...
