IMAC Double Build, Carden Pro 124" Extra 300 40%

Finally got the tank installed. Took a great deal of brainstorming to do this. The carbon fiber rods are not glued in. Held in front with collars. These can be removed, and then the front wood brace can be removed, one screw on each side. Then the tank can be removed for servicing.

the canopies / hatch are ready to be primed.

Next to do:
1. Wheel pants
2. install throttle servo
3. install radio tray
4. finish cowl area, baffles
5. prime the cowl, canopy, wheel pants
6. cover the airframe/wings/elevator/stabs.

I think I can do #6. 1st.
then 2 and 3 can be done later.

after i cover, then I can paint

These are by far the best canopies/hatch I have ever made. The joint between the plastic canopy and the hatch is now indiscernible.

What I did:

using the West Epoxy resin, I first applied the resin to the whole sheeted deck and about 1" of the plastic, then I laid one layer of cloth, and then again, brushed it with the resin. Waited about 2 hours, and then brushed it again with resin, applied a 2nd layer of cloth, and then brushed it again with resin.
Waited 2 days, then I sanded it smooth!
