seriously, when i was in high school i felt so so sorry for this kid. let me tell you the short version. this kid lived in a "holler" called Booger Hole. the place has a certain idk how to put it, some very bad stuff happen there in the 30's, murders and whatnot. supposedly was a witch or something. theres actually a book about it. but anyways, there was a man and 3 daughters that lived together, they we kinda hermits. the women never had boyfriends, husbands, etc. and one day one got pregnant. i went to school with the kid, supposedly his dad is also his grandad. there definitely wasnt something right with the kid, i felt so sorry for him tho. he had a ruff time in school.

i also have 2 cousins that are married. they are 2nd cousins, kinda messed up if you ask me lol. and when i say cousins married, you are probably painting a picture of some poor ol hillbillys with dirt floors and no shoes. but na, the married cousins are pretty wealthy.

umm i know of some more i just cant think atm, but im telling ya i wish some of you could come visit for about a week, i promise it would be an enlightenment. plus maybe you could show me some plane stuff, hehe

btw info on booger hole if you are interested. i actually live about 5 minutes across the hill from there. I have a friend that grew up there, his mom and dad still live there. back in my partying days, ive been through there late at night and the place will give you the willys. and i work at a funeral home so its pretty hard to freak me out.

btw if you dont know what a holler is

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=holler

just think of it kinda like a street, usually dirt road between 2 mountains, with usually a creek/stream that eventually dead ends.

"in the south east mountains of the united states this word is used instead of hollow;A small rising valley region between two hills or mountains;often containing a creek; and of course it can also mean to scream or yell.
He ben mared bout fie yer now ;livin bout a mile up tu holler he got a place onu east side the crik.=He has been married about five years now;living about a mile up the hollow;he has a place on the east side of the creek"

For the record, while I like to poke fun at you, I realize there's some serious poverty and suffering out there. And that's not funny at all.

Yeah, I'd love to visit one day. I'm sure it's a life altering experience. I've seen some stuff in northern Sweden that may get close to what you've got out there, but probably doesn't really compare.

ha! yea poke'n fun is well fun :) your just lucky i dont know any Swedish jokes(may have to look up some hehe) but on the guy i went to school. i dont think he was all that poor, reason i felt sorry for him is the whole dad=grandad thing. it was kinda well known and he got made fun of.

just from pictures and video ive seen, the rural areas of the Nordic regions reminds me alot like WV, well not the snow and ice part LOL. i would very much like to visit.

theres not a whole lot of money here but thanks to entitlement programs and government handouts most people here arent really suffering. Alot are dependent on the government. just glad im not in that boat. if we/when we ever have a collapse im pretty confident ill be able to take care of my family. we are "preppers" and have been living that lifestyle for quite some time, WAY before i was cool to be one LOL.
pretty self sufficient, stockpile and been living a survialist mentailty for awhile now. Im sure well have to take care of some friends and family that are government dependent. what is sad around here is there is alot of "system workers" that get those entitlements. people that are more than capable of being self sufficient and able to work. most are addicted to pills or meth get a medical card, get scripts for pain pills for free and turn around and sell them for $1000+ each time. and they are around my age and younger with kids. whats really scary is the kids today, growning up in those enviroments, when they become adults. wow.

sorry for all that lol. its the conservative in me lol

That's quite alright as far as I'm concerned. Having a European background and all, I'm probably pretty liberal in comparison. However, people making it their lifestyle to take advantage of the system and abuse it appals me too. In fact, I've found that I get along with people from all parts of the political spectrum, as long as they believe in basic honesty and decency.

Anyway, if the cr*p really hits the fan here, I can always move out to my dad's sheep farm about an hour from Stockholm and dress in wool and eat lamb and mutton for the rest of my life. :)

On a completely different topic: I've lost the charger for my DX7! How is that even possible? I've been plugged into the same wall socket for two years now and I never move it. But... It's gone. WTH?????
